MuteMic is designed to operate entirely on your Mac. The app does not collect, transmit, store, or share personal information or microphone data.

MuteMic does not:

• Record audio
• Store microphone activity
• Collect personal information
• Track usage behavior
• Use analytics
• Use advertising frameworks
• Sell or share data with third parties
• Create user accounts

All microphone status detection and controls happen locally on your device.

MuteMic does not require an internet connection to function.

If you choose to leave an optional tip through Apple’s payment systems, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. MuteMic does not receive or store your payment information.

MuteMic may request access to:

• Microphone controls and audio device management
• Accessibility or keyboard monitoring permissions for global hotkeys and push-to-talk functionality, depending on your macOS configuration

These permissions are used solely to provide app functionality and are never used to collect or transmit data.

MuteMic does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

All settings and preferences are stored locally on your Mac using standard macOS application storage mechanisms.

MuteMic does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

If this Privacy Policy changes in the future, updates will be reflected here with a revised effective date.
